Portfolio Overview
Our £25,000 portfolio is currently being set up for the 2024-2025 academic year.
CamSIF is also proud to have established a partnership with Quartr to aid our Sector Teams in the formation of their pitches!
Quartr is a software and financial data provider serving the global finance industry. Its product suite includes a research platform for desktops, a free mobile app, and an extensive API offering. Quartr's solutions are utilized by leading hedge funds, asset managers, equity research departments, and IR professionals worldwide.
Portfolio Management Competition
This year CamSIF will be expanding the Portfolio Management Competition (PMC) to facilitate competition between societies across multiple universities!
Teams, each consisting of students from 2 different universities, will be managing a virtual portfolio throughout the year and, at the end of the competition, deliver a presentation on the management and results of their portfolio.
Based portfolio returns and quality of presentation, a winning team will be decided and awarded free tickets to CamSIF’s annual “President’s Drinks” networking event which facilitates hundreds of students and industry professionals!
Through the PMC, CamSIF aims to facilitate communication and shared learning between students who attend different universities but are united by the same passion!
Portfolio returns will become available on our Synergy platform once the competition begins.
